Attiva is the feminine Italian adjective for 'active.' What it means in English is improving the personal performance of women skiers of any ability. As you can see, we've embarked on a new, unified graphic look for our women's collection. The names and graphics represent the elements. With the Attiva series, just like in the unisex line, we represent the best possible products for carving, all-conditions skiing, and freeskiing.
For good-skiing women who want the ultimate all-conditions ski, the Tierra brings our highest technology to the table. Attiva Motion iPT and Extended Double Grip are at the heart of the matter, and the shape is just right for a 50/50 frontside/backside skiing.
Binding: Marker Attiva Motion iPT 11.0 TC
- Motion systems work by allowing easier, more round ski flex. With rails or an internal interface integrated in its construction, the ski allows a Marker binding interface to glide, held in place by a high-carbon steel pin. Easier flex means even, balanced edge pressure to the snow surface. The result is better control through precise distribution over the length of the edge, and better performance
- Motion iPT (internal power transmission) combines ease of ski flex with the ultimate power and sensitivity available in any ski/binding system. Engineers built the binding interface into the ski, the created a system that slides into position on the ski. Inside the ski, the interface creates most rigid connection of any motion system to date, resulting in better performance in any snow conditions. The sides of the interface rest directly on top of the chambers of the Extended Double Grip Construction, for direct energy Transfer.
